As most of you know a couple of weeks back we turned WG off as it was mking the core unstable.

We are glad to announce that we have finsihed work on v2.0 of MGA-WG. We dont have a queuing system just yet.

New Features;

* Portals in Dalaran will only work during war time and 5 mins before war time.
* You can only earn rank if your in a group
* WG Quests Fixed
* Mini Tokens as extra reward
* If no attackers, defends auto win
* if no defenders, attackers auto win
* if no attackers or defenders, defenders keep it.
* VoA can only be entered by controlling faction
* When WG starts defenders start in keep, attackers start at there camp

* Fair Balanced Game

* Wintergrasp
Wintergrasp is the first non-battleground zone fully dedicated to world PvP. It focuses on siege weapon warfare. You can purchase Wintergrasp honor rewards from vendors that appear when your faction controls the zone. The faction that won the last Wintergrasp battle must defend Wintergrasp Keep for 30 minutes, while the opposing faction attacks the keep.
Both factions can take control of Goblin workshops scattered around the zone. To take the keep, the attacking faction must break down walls by causing siege damage with siege engines and items that cause siege damage, ultimately entering the Relic Chamber in the keep’s innermost area to claim victory.
Three towers in the southern part of the zone provide an additional objective: Destroying a tower grants a damage buff, and destruction of all three towers shortens the battle’s time by 10 minutes. Sign Up.

* Voters Zone
In all starting zones and major cities you will find a npc called Aaron (he may have told you about this page, if not he’s big guy made from stone). If you have voted Aaron will teleport you to the MGA Voters Zone here you will find some extra npc’s to help you along you gaming path, nothing silly to spoil the game some nice additions to help new and experienced players alike. * Random Dungeon Finder
Dungeon Finder is the Looking for Dungeon system. It is only used for 5-man dungeons, not raids or groups in general for high-level quests. The Dungeon Finder selects players to form a party from all the realm limited only by faction & level, so there need not be a full group of players..
The first screen players see shows the role selection toggles and the type of dungeon desired. By default, the selection is for a random dungeon. This can be changed via the Type dropdown to such options as Random Lich King Heroic, Random Burning Crusade Dungeon, or Random Classic Dungeon. Running a random dungeon confers additional rewards in the form of emblems and gold. Sign Up.

* Random Battlegrounds
Battlegrounds are instanced areas used for player versus player combat. Each classic battleground (Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin and Alterac Valley) has two red instance entrance portals: one for the Alliance, and one for the Horde. Crossing these portals was originally one of the ways to enter the queue for their respective battlegrounds. Now, to enter the queue for any battleground, the player must seek out a Battlemaster, which can be found at the portal or in any capital city, or do so through the Player vs. Player tab. Once inside the instance, the two teams will engage in large-scale PvP, with various objectives determining the winner. Players will earn honor points making PvP rewards available. Sign Up.

* Arena’s
Arenas are areas in which teams of players can compete against each other in deathmatch-style PvP. Instead of participating in objective-based PvP, these contests center around your team’s ability to obliterate the other team. The Arena PvP system matches teams of equal size together to increase fairness and make advancement to the highest tiers more difficult and more rewarding. The arena allows for 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5, but your team may have up to double the amount required for one fight (i.e. a 2v2 team can have four people in it). Unlike normal PvP, the arena also allows intra-faction competition. Sign Up.

* IRC Chat Room
A unique feature of MGA is it’s IRC chartroom. It is linked to the in game world channel. So even if you are not in game, you can still chat to your friends on the MGA WoW. All you need is an IRC client or via the MGA website using the web based IRC client. Sign Up.

* Vote 4 Rewards
For helping us by voting, for each vote you cast we will credit you will 1 vote point, these vote points can be spent in the online vote shop giving you access to normally unobtainable to players (no OP or stupid gear check the shop out here). Sign Up.

Yes you read it right name change is now available. So are race and faction change !
Faction/Race change costs 250 VIP Points.
Name change costs 150 VIP Points.
Visit your account page to use this feature. When you activate name/race/faction change for a character, just log in that character, speak with Aaron in any major city, and go to MGA area. When you’re there, just talk to Rachael <Master of Names> to flag yourself for a name change or talk to Cameron <Faction and Race Changer> to flag yourself for a Race or Faction change.

Once you’ve done this, exit the game. On next login, if you chose to get a name change, you’ll be asked for a new name. If you chose a faction or race change, log in to your account and click the race/faction change icon next to the character you wanted to change. Edit that char, switching his faction or his race. You can also edit the character’s gender, its facial features and name ( yes, you get a free name change if you change your race or faction ).

Faction / Race / Name are limited to once every 7 days.

VIP Point Info:
VIP points are points earned from donating to support MGA, for each £1 you donate you will get 50 VIP points
After using the system VIP points will be deducted from your account but we will ALWAYS leave you with 1 VIP point

MGA Features:

*MGA Mini Tokens

What are they ? These mini tokens are obtainable from the Random Battleground. The winners get 3 and the losers get 1. So fight hard and win to get as many as possible.

You also get MGA Mini Tokens from Voting. You can vote 2 times everyday ( once every 12 hours per account ) . Voting also helps bringing new players to the server. More players = more RBGs = more mini tokens !

You can also donate to MGA. As a thank you gift you will receive 50 Mini Tokens for every pound you donate.

Where do you spend them ? Well if you got them by donating or voting you can spend them on our shop filled with GOODIES ! Blizz only items that are awarded on special occasions. Click here for the shop page.

*MGA Tokens.

What are they ? Well if you get 50 MGA Mini Tokens you can convert them into an MGA Token. You can use them to level up. MGA Tokens give you 2 levels if you’re under level 60 and 1 level if you’re above level 60 until 77 when they stop giving you levels. To take advantage of this, go to a main city and talk to Zelenka ( The big demon NPC )
